County Materials partners with the Women’s Community in Wausau, Wisconsin, to provide specialized services and resources to people in Central Wisconsin affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking. The organization’s goal is to help individuals and families attain greater emotional and economic self-sufficiency. All services are free to those who need them and include shelter, food, clothing, counseling, advocacy, and support groups. The Women’s Community has been transforming lives and empowering communities to end violence and oppression for over forty years.
County Materials, through the Sonnentag American Foundation, partners with local organizations to give back to our communities. Each year, the Sonnentag American Foundation supports dozens of worthy causes in four service areas, including Hunger and Homelessness Support, Service Member and Veteran Support, Sexual Abuse and Domestic Assault Services, and Mentoring and Skills Building.
