County Materials partners with the Grace Place to strengthen the New Richmond, Wisconsin, community. The shelter houses up to 64 individuals in crisis situations. Grace Place’s goal is to promote self-sufficiency by providing a temporary safe place where individuals can be helped, educated, and guided in overcoming unresolved issues. The organization meets immediate needs and helps people develop stabilization plans, empowering them to become independent and building a stronger, more stable community.
County Materials, through the Sonnentag American Foundation, partners with Grace Place to give back to the community. Each year, the Sonnentag American Foundation supports dozens of worthy organizations and causes in four service areas, including Hunger and Homelessness Support, Service Member and Veteran Support, Sexual Abuse and Domestic Assault Services, and Mentoring and Skills Building.
