We recognize Al Bohland for achieving 22 years of service as a truck driver based out of Holmen, Wisconsin. Al started his career with County Materials as a Boom Truck Driver. He began driving flatbeds and dump trucks as needed and pivoted to driving flatbed trucks full-time in 2007. The company hosted an on-site social to celebrate Al’s successful career and congratulate him on his retirement.
Al will be remembered by his peers and customers for his dependability and warm personality. He has admirably been given the nicknames “Papa Smurf” and “Santa” by those who worked closely with him. Al’s peer, Cindy Rassbach, said, “Al is always willing to drive the extra load and go above and beyond.”
We congratulate Al on his remarkable career with County Materials and wish him the best in retirement filled with the hobbies he enjoys, including tractor pulls, tinkering with his three Oliver tractors, and cutting wood.
