During the month of May, County Materials recognizes Military Appreciation Month and the men and women in uniform who have made countless sacrifices for our freedom. We are proud to employ individuals with military experience and help them build stable and rewarding careers in concrete manufacturing that provide a good life for them and their families.
Candidates with military experience understand the importance of a strong work ethic, teamwork, and camaraderie – qualities that are highly valued in our industry. We work alongside our military team members to help them align their Military Occupation Specialties (MOS) and experiences with a rewarding career opportunity.
Additionally, through the Sonnentag American Foundation, County Materials partners with local organizations that support service members and veterans through service dog training, workforce reentry resources, and recreational experiences that empower and heal. We also help build lasting tributes to honor the individuals who have sacrificed their lives for our freedoms. These programs demonstrate gratitude and support for service members and veterans and help them thrive in their local communities.
