As a testament to County Materials' stability and long-standing experience in the concrete manufacturing industry, our company gratefully recognizes Wayne King for achieving more than 49 years of service with our company. The significance of Wayne's dedication, hard work, and contributions to the success of our organization cannot be overstated. To celebrate his successful career, we hosted an on-site social that was attended by his family and coworkers.
Throughout his career, Wayne has built a solid reputation for being extremely dependable, safety-minded, and demonstrating the highest integrity by doing the right thing all the time. Wayne's many contributions to County Materials include working in concrete block and aggregate operations, and driving dump trucks to haul construction materials to job sites and our manufacturing facilities. We value his customer service skills and his ability to mentor young drivers to be successful in our company.
Wayne’s supervisor, Randy Deer, expressed his appreciation for Wayne’s years of service, and highlighted why Wayne has been such an asset to the team. He said, “Wayne has always been a person who you could rely on to be at work and to prioritize safety. In my years working with Wayne, he has never called in sick. He has always been the worker that takes good care of the equipment that he uses. In his latest years, he also trained new drivers and mentored them. Wayne has always been someone you could just rely on.”
County Materials' CEO and Owner, Tim Sonnentag, said, "I sincerely thank Wayne for being a valued member of our team for so many years. His unwavering dedication is a driving force for all of us."
We are grateful to Wayne for helping us build a company that hardworking people are proud to work for, live near, and do business with since 1946.
