When utility service provider, Jump River Electric Cooperative built a new headquarters, cooperative members envisioned a modern facility that would represent the organization’s commitment to sustainability through its choice of building materials.
County Materials’ decorative Concrete Masonry Units are made with natural materials and post-industrial, pre-consumer recycled concrete, aiding in a low-impact manufacturing process that appealed to cooperative members. The project achieved a modern, yet rustic aesthetic through the combined use of Heritage Collection Designer Brick and Fullface Split Block. Over 8,000 SF of decorative Concrete Masonry Units of contrasting complementary colors and textures came together to create a dimensional visual that leaves a lasting impression.
