Written by Admin | Jul 24, 2024

The County Champion Award Program is an opportunity to celebrate a team member who goes above and beyond and represents the best of our company. We are proud to announce Megan Antczak as our first quarter County Champion. Award recipients receive a $1,000 cash prize and a framed certificate signed by County Materials Owner Tim Sonnentag. They can also choose to celebrate this accomplishment with their family and peers at an on-site social hosted in their honor.

Megan is a Production Supervisor at our Janesville, Wisconsin, facility and has been with County Materials for almost eight years. She has earned the respect of her team members, supervisors, and customers with her excellent problem-solving skills and enthusiastic outlook. Megan leads by example and is an outstanding model of our company’s Commitments to Teamwork, Accountability, Motivation, Integrity, and Leadership.

Known for her strong work ethic and attention to detail, Megan has made many valuable contributions to her team and to our company. For example, she implemented a production dashboard to provide the sales team with a high-level view of the information they need regarding their projects. This innovation greatly improved efficiency for her team and, over the course of four years, has been expanded to all Landscape and Masonry production facilities within our company. Megan also plays an important role in coordinating Team Member Appreciation Week activities at the Janesville location, planning events that everyone enjoys.

Megan’s supervisor, Ansel Gilson, said “Regardless of the situation, Megan takes a positive approach. She values everyone’s input to ensure everyone is fully informed. She maintains a cool and positive attitude, communicating through processes and ensuring the best possible outcome for all involved.”

It takes a team of hardworking and motivated individuals to build our successful organization, and County Materials is grateful to have team members like Megan bringing strong character to the workplace every day. We thank Megan for her daily commitment to excellence and her many years of leading by example.
