Representative Derrick Van Orden recently visited our concrete facility in Holmen, Wisconsin. Van Orden is the congressman for the Wisconsin third congressional district which includes La Crosse, Eau Claire, and Stevens Point. He serves on the House Committee on Agriculture and Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure.
As a concrete manufacturing leader, we appreciate the opportunity to connect with government officials, like Derrick Van Orden, who are advocates for our industry. Reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) is the preferred choice for sanitary and stormwater systems across the nation. It offers unmatched reliability and service life that can exceed 100 years and creates rewarding job opportunities that benefit local economies. County Materials produces RCP that builds resilient communities and employs more than 2,000 people in the states of Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and Florida.
County Materials hosts plant tours for public leaders to discuss the importance of concrete products in building strong, sustainable communities and to be a voice in the communities that we help build.
Together, we're building a company that hardworking people are proud to work for, live near, and do business with since 1946.
