On September 12, 2019 County Materials Corporation hosted its 13th Annual Charity Golf Outing at the Minocqua Country Club in Minocqua, WI, raising $185,000 for charities supported by the Sonnentag Foundation. This year’s event brought together 57 corporate sponsors and partners to help enrich the lives of others in the communities where County Materials has locations. Since the first Charity Golf Outing in 2007, County Materials has raised more than $1.3 million to help change people’s lives for the better and build stronger communities.
The generous gifts from those in the concrete industry has made it possible for the Sonnentag Foundation to expand the organization’s support to 33 organizations. Funding has helped individuals in four key service areas: hunger and homelessness, military personnel and veteran support, sexual abuse and domestic assault services, and youth mentoring and skills building.
This year’s Major Event Sponsors were Hansen Reynolds LLC, Hawkeye Pedershaab, Aggregate Industries and Lafarge Holcim, Truck Country, McCoy Construction and Forestry, and Fabick Cat. Presenting Sponsors included Rock Road Companies, Inc., Michels, Alternative Risk Resources, Insteel Wire Products, Merrill, United Structures Inc., Hamilton Kent, and BASF.
