The Sugar Creek Greenway Trail is a four-mile stretch of the Marathon Loop, a 26.2-mile biking and walking trail around the city of Des Moines, Iowa. Project leaders worked with the West Des Moines Parks and Recreation Department to select County Materials’ 8’x5’ Box Culverts to divert the nearby creek’s water flow and allow the bike trail to be installed. Manufactured to withstand harsh elements, precast box culverts proved ideal for this trail project.
