A residential landscape project using County Materials’ concrete landscape products received national recognition during the 2025 Hardscape North America Awards Ceremony. The awards program, which is produced by the Concrete Masonry & Hardscapes Association, honors the year’s most outstanding residential and commercial hardscape products, contractors, and designers.
The Prairie View project in River Falls, Wisconsin, won an Honorable Mention in the Segmental Concrete Pavement - Residential (less than 3,000 SF) category. Designed and installed by Earthworks Landscaping, the project included the construction of a swimming pool with a paver pool deck and patio that connects to the home’s entrance, along with an outdoor kitchen and a spa. One of the most striking elements of the design are two diagonal stripes that cut across the patio through the pool, tying the patio design to the modern and edgy aesthetic of the home.
To bring their design to life, Earthworks Landscaping relied on a variety of concrete pavers from County Materials, including Grand XL DISCOVER PAVERS in Vision, Grand DISCOVER PAVERS in Majestic, and ELEMENTS Paving Stones in Vision and Reflection. The dimensional compatibility of County Materials’ pavers helped streamline installation and contributed to the project’s speedy completion in just four months.
This year’s competition drew an impressive 192 project submissions, highlighting excellence in walkways, patios, pool decks, outdoor living spaces, commercial plazas, streets, retaining walls, and more.
