County Materials’ Concrete Masonry Elements Enhance Façade of Retail Building

Written by Admin | Oct 18, 2022

County Materials’ Heritage Collection Designer Concrete Brick and Fullface Split Concrete Masonry Units were specified for a free standing retail building on a street corner near Milwaukee’s General Mitchell International Airport.

Project leaders specified concrete masonry products to achieve a refined appearance to match the upscale brand of the retail business, Airport Vineyard. Heritage Collection bricks in Sienna Cream and Slate were used to give the façade depth and visual interest, which helps catch the eye of drivers passing through the busy intersection.

Fullface Split Concrete Masonry Units in Salt and Pepper convey a sense of permanence and stability by wrapping around the base of the building.

Heritage Collection Designer Concrete Brick is a versatile construction material, offering all the advantages of concrete with the aesthetic appeal of brick. It requires minimal maintenance over its extended service life, and bricks retain their color throughout their service life due to County Materials’ integral color blending process.

Available in structural concrete load-bearing or full and thin veneer units, Heritage Collection units make buildings more comfortable, economical, and safe with high acoustic ratings and high fire resistance.

Manufactured by County Materials using abundant natural resources, concrete masonry is an affordable, readily-available building material that can meet the needs of any project.
