During the American Concrete Pipe Association (ACPA)’s annual Research and Education Foundation meeting, County Materials Corporation, in partnership with Afinitas and Northern Concrete Pipe, donated $40,000 to fund the organization’s research and education efforts.
County Materials Corporation President Tim Sonnentag reflected on the company’s donation, “We are proud to support ACPA in conducting the important research and education they do to ensure that concrete pipe remains the product of choice used in building our nation’s infrastructure,” he continued, “ We know the work they do will help the engineering community understand the many advantages of using the most durable and resilient drainage pipe on the market.
ACPA is a nonprofit organization, with its membership comprised of concrete pipe and box culvert manufacturers from the United States and over 30 other countries. Members of the organization have access to communal programs and services, promoting the industry and its growth. ACPA members are dedicated to improving the environment with the production of reliable concrete pipe that will serve as a long-term solution for drainage and pollution concerns.
