Building on the company’s reputation as an industry-leading manufacturer of concrete pipe and precast products, County Materials Corporation has purchased the pipe producing assets of Fred Weber Reinforced Concrete Products, Inc., including the manufacturing facility in Sunset Hills, MO, and the assets of Kienstra Precast LLC in Madison, IL, effective December 15, 2023.
This purchase adds to County Materials’ manufacturing capabilities in reinforced concrete pipe and precast structures. Since the company was founded in 1946, County Materials has grown to become a robust, family-owned organization that includes more than 40 locations in six states and a team of nearly 2,000 dedicated team members.
From the new facilities, County Materials will continue to offer reinforced concrete pipe and precast structures in the greater St. Louis area. The County Materials family of companies manufacturers a variety of concrete construction products, including concrete landscape and masonry units, prestress bridge girders, hollowcore, parking structure and commercial building components, elevator and stair shafts, as well as specialty precast products across the greater Midwest.
