The Wausau West High School Junior Varsity Baseball Team’s field had limited team seating and was exposed to the elements. To enhance the facility and make more room for players, coaches, and equipment, the Wausau West Baseball Diamond Club planned to upgrade the facility with enclosed dugouts.
County Materials donated concrete masonry units and ready-mix to the project. The new enclosed dugouts provide shelter from weather and adequate seating for coaches and players. Built using long-lasting materials, the baseball team’s new dugouts will be enjoyed for years to come.
This year, in celebration of our company’s 75th anniversary, County Materials is committed to share 75 Stories of Impact, featuring organizations that receive funding from the Sonnentag Foundation and are part of the communities where we have locations.
