County Materials is proud to support Soldiers’ Angels, an organization whose mission is “to provide aid, comfort, and resources to the military, veterans, and their families.”
Once again, County Materials’ team members came together to donate food and supplies – enough to fill 325 Christmas stockings – which Soldiers’ Angels will deliver. That means 325 military family members, wounded heroes, deployed service members, and veterans will have a brighter holiday season this year.
Founded in 2003 by the mother of a service member in Iraq, today Soldiers’ Angels has a global network of volunteers in all 50 states, Washington DC, and 31 countries abroad. Here at home, they provide support in a variety of ways, including visiting patients at VA hospitals, handing out groceries at food distribution centers, baking fresh goods to ship overseas, and more.
This holiday season, it’s important to remember that there truly are angels among us. That’s why County Materials is committed to Soldiers’ Angels and other organizations that support our service members and veterans in the communities where we have locations.
