Evergreen Elementary in Holmen, WI, recently renovated their playground because it had become unusable with age and wear. The school aimed to create a safe and accessible playground for their students with new equipment and surfacing usable for students needing mobility support.
County Materials donated to this project and to help offer the children of Evergreen Elementary a safe and inclusive space to play, not only during the school day, but also after school, on weekends, and during the summer. The school says the children love the playground and that having a large structure with accessible equipment has revolutionized their outdoor experience.
