County Materials Supports Life-Changing Services for Veterans and Service Members

Written by Admin | Nov 10, 2022

This Veterans Day, County Materials recognizes the courage and sacrifice of service members and their families. We are proud to employ many veterans and service members and support organizations that give back to those who serve and have served.

Through the Sonnentag American Foundation, County Materials provides resources to extend the capacity of organizations that work to improve the lives of service members, veterans, wounded heroes, and their families. Since 2012, we have donated nearly $375,000 to organizations helping veterans overcome Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and combat injuries, regain their independence and confidence, and re-enter the workforce.

In 2022, County Materials supported the following organizations:

  • Camp Hope, Farmington, MO
  • Custom Canines Service Dog Academy, Sun Prairie, WI
  • Easterseals Crossroads, Indianapolis, IN
  • Ketchum's Got Your Six, Madison, WI
  • Operation Homefront
  • Patriot K9s of Wisconsin, Wausau, WI
  • Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Rock County, Janesville, WI
  • Soldiers' Angels
  • SoldierStrong
  • United Way of Lake & Sumter Counties, Leesburg, FL

Additionally, County Materials helped bring to life a community center in New Richmond, Wisconsin, that will serve more than 400 veterans. County Materials donated Reflection Stone® Masonry Units to help build a patio overlooking Hatfield Lake at the Freedom Park Community Center.

To our men and women in uniform, past, present, and future, we are forever grateful for your service.
