County Materials supports Ketchum’s Got Your Six, helping provide resources for Wisconsin veterans suffering from PTSD. The organization fundraises in a variety of ways, including auctions, a charitable bike ride, and chili dinners at the local VFW. Ketchum’s Got Your Six uses these funds to cover the cost of service dog training. The organization partners with Custom Canines to be resources for Wisconsin veterans.
Ketchum’s Got Your Six is located in Madison, WI and was founded in honor of Marine Brandon Ketchum. Brandon served three tours overseas. During his last tour, Brandon sustained injuries both physically and emotionally, which led to Brandon becoming one of the 22 veterans that pass away from suicide each day in the United States. Ketchum’s Got Your Six was established to remind veterans that they are not alone in their battles and to provide them the resources needed to make a positive change in their life.
County Materials, through the Sonnentag American Foundation, supports dozens of worthy organizations and causes in four service areas, including Hunger and Homelessness Support, Service Member and Veteran Support, Sexual Abuse and Domestic Assault Services, and Mentoring and Skills Building.
