County Materials congratulates JJ’s Cutting Edge of West Bend, WI for receiving national recognition at the 2021 Hardscape North America Awards, held on October 21st. Hosted by the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute, the program acknowledges the work of hardscape contractors, producers, and designers.
A multi-terrace retaining wall installed by JJ’s Cutting Edge in Lakewood, WI won the Residential Segmental Retaining Wall category. The project was selected for its eye-catching design, quality materials, and construction excellence. To build this 3,000 SF outdoor living space, JJ’s Cutting Edge relied on County Materials’ Tribute Retaining Wall units, Grand Milestone Pavers, and Elements Paving Stones. Concrete landscape products were chosen for their inherent durability. The Tribute segmental retaining wall units proved reliable and endured minimal damage when severe storms caused trees to fall on the in-progress project. Completed over three summers, the homeowners of this property will enjoy their outdoor entertainment space for a lifetime.
