County Materials partners with Easterseals Wisconsin to serve people with disabilities in Wisconsin. The organization is one of the oldest of its kind in the state and has been offering programs such as vocational rehabilitation, respite services, camping and recreation, information and referral, and public education for almost a century.
Easterseals Wisconsin recently used funds donated by County Materials to make improvements to their camps. The organization updated their Nurses’ Station and enhanced their low ropes course to increase accessibility. They also installed an automatic door closer to allow campers who use wheelchairs to maneuver entrances independently and safely.
Easterseals Wisconsin aids nearly 10,000 individuals and their families each year and strives to help them live independently, become self-sufficient, and enjoy life more fully. County Materials is proud to partner with organizations like Easterseals Wisconsin that create opportunities for people in our communities.
Through the Sonnentag American Foundation, we support organizations in four service areas, including Hunger and Homelessness Support, Veteran and Service Member Support, Sexual Abuse and Domestic Assault Services, and Mentoring and Skills Building.
