County Materials partners with the YWCA of Rock County to eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. Since 1922, the organization has been transforming lives and communities through education and action, helping people facing adversity rebuild self-confidence, regain self-respect, and become role models.
The organization offers emergency shelter, case management services, and long-term housing for survivors of domestic violence as they establish independence. Through these programs and a 24-hour crisis hotline, the YWCA helps nearly 100 women and 200 children flee abuse each year.
County Materials, through the Sonnentag American Foundation, targets support to local organizations like the YWCA. We partner with organizations that support individuals in four key service areas: Hunger & Homelessness Support, Service Members & Veterans Support, Sexual Abuse & Domestic Assault Services, and Mentoring & Skills Building.
