Omni Block
County Materials is an authorized Omni Block Manufacturer. This stand-alone insulated concrete 8” wall system features three layers of concrete and two layers of insulation. It is thermally efficient, achieves a high R-value, meets or exceeds the local energy code, and provides excellent sound absorption. With a 2.7-hour fire rating, Omni Block is suitable for most residential and commercial applications.
Masons can install Omni Block using standard techniques and tools, making it a cost-effective solution for enhancing a building’s thermal performance.
Fabel Collision auto body shop in Appleton, Wisconsin, chose Omni Block’s 8” system in a Splitface finish for the first floor of their new facility to improve thermal performance. The Natural Gray blocks were painted cream after installation.
Closed Cell Insulating Inserts
The insulating material used is Expanded Polystyrene (EPS), a chemically closed cell product that is an excellent insulator, does not outgas, and does not promote flame spread (it just melts). When Omni Block is installed with insulating core materials, it provides exceptional energy performance for concrete masonry construction.
In addition to thermal benefits and energy efficiency, our insulating concrete masonry units also provide a long service life and are made with a recycled steam process.
