Partnering with Little Lakes Memories to Provide Outdoor Recreation for People with Disabilities

Written by Admin | May 29, 2024

Founded in 2005, Little Lakes Memories is a Wisconsin-based hunting and recreation lodge for people with disabilities. Based in Irma, WI, the organization hosts outdoor experiences, such as hunting and fishing, for individuals who may otherwise be unable to access them.

Caretakers can join in the fun or enjoy a reprieve from their role, and guests with disabilities can participate in activities they may have thought impossible due to their physical limitations. Little Lakes is volunteer-run, of no cost to participants, and operates year-round.

County Materials partners with Little Lakes Memories to further its goal to provide life-time memories for as many families as possible.

Through the Sonnentag American Foundation, we target support to local nonprofits and causes. We partner with organizations that support individuals in four key service areas: Hunger & Homelessness Support, Service Members & Veterans Support, Sexual Abuse & Domestic Assault Services, and Mentoring & Skills Building.
