Nestled in the heart of Central Wisconsin’s countryside, the City of Colby is a small community filled with historic character and charm. When the city’s public library underwent reconstruction and expansion, it was important for project leaders to recreate the building’s historic feel with the use of modern materials that will stand the test of time. Reflection Stone® Masonry Units manufactured by County Materials proved to be an ideal solution, emulating the appearance of natural hand-hewn stone with the high strength of a concrete veneer. In total, the reconstruction project required over 2,600 SF of Reflection Stone Masonry Units to create a memorable, timeless façade.
