For 45 years, The Women’s Center has provided advocacy, support, and shelter in its mission to empower all impacted by abuse, sexual violence, child abuse, and trafficking. County Materials supports the organization and its vision to create an engaged community that does not tolerate violence and provides resources to secure futures free from abuse.
The Women’s Center offers free advocacy counseling services and onsite childcare. The organization additionally provides emergency services, including shelter, a 24-hour hotline, and sexual assault crisis response. More than 1,100 people receive direct help each year, and the hotline answers more than 7,000 calls annually. Community outreach includes more than 200 school presentations.
County Materials, through the Sonnentag American Foundation, targets support to worthy organizations and causes. We partner with organizations that support individuals in four key service areas: Hunger & Homelessness Support, Service Members & Veterans Support, Sexual Abuse & Domestic Assault Services, and Mentoring & Skills Building.
