Supporting Victims of Sexual and Domestic Violence with Turningpoint

Written by Admin | Apr 21, 2025

Turningpoint for Victims of Domestic and Sexual Violence has provided life-changing services and support in Wisconsin's Pierce and St. Croix Counties communities for more than 50 years. Turningpoint provides shelter, 24-hour crisis counseling, legal assistance, children’s services, violence prevention education, safety planning, support groups, and emergency food and hygiene products.

County Materials supports Turningpoint’s mission to provide resources to help victims gain freedom from domestic and sexual violence. The organization also operates Second Chances Thrift Store in River Falls, where violence survivors can receive vouchers for clothing, furniture, and household goods.

Through the Sonnentag American Foundation, County Materials supports dozens of worthy organizations like Turningpoint in four key service areas: Hunger & Homelessness Support, Service Member & Veteran Support, Sexual Abuse & Domestic Assault Services, and Mentoring & Skills Building.
