The College of Engineers and Land Surveyors of Puerto Rico (CIAPR) toured our concrete facility in Astatula, Florida. CIAPR was established in 1938 to advocate for the development of engineering and surveying and to promote ethics and excellence in professional practice.
During the visit, CIAPR members witnessed County Materials' concrete pipe manufacturing process and learned how our products are a more dependable choice for stormwater management projects. The tour provided an opportunity to have their technical questions addressed.
County Materials offers plant tours to demonstrate how concrete pipe is manufactured and its importance in building durable infrastructure. Facility tours highlight the rewarding career opportunities available in the concrete manufacturing industry and emphasize the impact that concrete pipe producers and construction industry professionals have on the American economy, environment, and local communities.
Rick Bolinger, Sales Representative with County Materials, stated, “Plant tours are vital to our industry. We host legislators, government representatives, FDOT personnel, engineers, and contractors. These plant tours paint a real picture of what goes into producing concrete pipe and the quality and strength of our products. Anytime we can get guests into our facilities, we have helped ourselves and our industry significantly.”
Together, we're building a company that hardworking people are proud to work for, live near, and do business with since 1946.
