We are proud to announce Bob Groene as our fourth-quarter County Champion. Bob has been with the County Materials Family of Companies since 2023 as a Microsoft Administrator in Marathon, Wisconsin.
Bob earned this award by demonstrating Our Commitments through Teamwork, Accountability, Motivation, Integrity, and Leadership. Award recipients receive a $1,500 cash prize and a framed certificate signed by the owner of the County Materials Family of Companies, Tim Sonnentag.
In Bob’s nomination, comments frequently mention his “easygoing, optimistic attitude” even under challenging circumstances. His peers say that his positivity is contagious and his approachable nature makes him easy to work with.
Bob is recognized for consistently going above and beyond to support his team. In one of many examples, he helped his peer troubleshoot connection issues with their device and provided technical support during multiple large-scale calls. Even when the complications took more than a month to resolve, Bob proposed new ideas to find a solution.
