Solution: County Materials delivers concrete pipe all construction season to support highway modernization project
Wisconsin Department of Transportation Specifies Reinforced Concrete Pipe for I-43 Freeway
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) has maintained the I-43 North-South (Glendale to Grafton) freeway for more than 50 years. As the corridor approaches the end of its design life, the WisDOT initiated modernization to create a safer, more efficient freeway. To meet current design standards for this modernization project, the WisDOT relied on County Materials’ Reinforced Concrete Pipe and Precast Structures.
Reinforced concrete pipe is an ideal solution for infrastructure updates like this Wisconsin project, as it meets the highest standards for structural integrity. Concrete is an inherently strong material that resists flotation and can remain in serviceable condition for more than 100 years. Our concrete pipe will serve the surrounding communities for decades, offering unmatched resilience in the case of natural and manmade disasters.
