Lake Cares Food Pantry is on a mission to provide food to residents that need assistance. The organization’s main food pantry is based in Mount Dora, FL and services seven satellite distribution sites throughout the Lake County. With the help of committed and trained volunteers, Lakes Cares Food Pantry distributes more than 1.3 million pounds of food each year. When Lake Cares identifies a need, every effort is made to provide resolution.
Through the Sonnentag Foundation, County Materials supports dozens of charitable organizations and causes in four key service areas: Hunger & Homelessness Support, Service Member & Veteran Support, Sexual Abuse and Domestic Assault Services, and Mentoring & Skills Building.
