County Materials Congratulates Stumpf Creative Landscaping for National Award of Excellence

Dec 29, 2016

Marathon, WI – County Materials Corporation is pleased to congratulate Stumpf Creative Landscaping of Menasha, WI for their award winning project entry in the 2015 National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA) and Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI) Design Awards of Excellence. The NCMA/ICPI Design Awards recognize architects, designers, and product producers for their outstanding use of concrete masonry and hardscape products.

Stumpf Creative Landscaping received an Award of Merit in the Interlocking Concrete Pavers category for their design and installation of a permeable paver driveway on Firelane Rd. near Menasha. The 1,150 sq. ft. project utilized H20 Pro Pavers® supplied by County Materials. Set back only 90 feet from Lake Winnebago, the project complies with DNR regulations requiring permeable surfaces on paved areas of waterfront properties. H20 Pro Pavers are designed to allow storm water to effectively percolate into the ground, reduce total suspended solids (TSS) levels, and eliminate surface puddling and enhance snow and ice removal in winter.

Competition for the NCMA/ICPI Design Awards Awards is stiff, with winners representing some of the finest concrete masonry projects in North America. These winning projects, architects, designers, and product producers were selected by a distinguished panel of jurors for their outstanding use of concrete masonry units, segmental retaining wall units and interlocking concrete pavers. The Design Awards Program serves as a venue to showcase the design versatility of these products and how they are successfully used today.
