County Materials Partners with Kimberly High School to Build Community Park Shelter
County Materials donated more than 800 Fullface Split masonry units to Kimberly High School for the construction of a shelter at Sunset Park in Kimberly, WI. Students worked 2-3 hours each morning with a local mason and gained hands-on experience laying concrete brick.
The new shelter has upgraded electrical capacity and a kitchen space for community members to utilize. “The partnership between the Village of Kimberly, the Kimberly Recreation Association and County Materials helped make this project possible,” said Holly Femal, Community Enrichment Director for the Village of Kimberly.
