County Materials’ Retaining Wall Product Wins at Hardscape North America

Oct 22, 2019

County Materials congratulates Progressive Lawn Care & Summit Snow Removal, LLC of Wisconsin Rapids, WI for receiving national recognition at the 12th Annual Hardscape North America (HNA) Awards. Each year, HNA celebrates the top projects in the country by selecting a winning project and honorable mention across 16 different categories. Hosted by the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI), the awards program is a demonstration of expert craftsmanship and quality manufacturing. This year’s awards event took place at the HNA Trade Show in Louisville, KY, on October 17th, 2019.

The Fly Rod Trail Residence installed by Progressive Lawn Care & Summit Snow Removal won in the Residential Segmental Retaining Wall category. The project was selected for its design, quality of construction, compatibility with the surrounding landscape, construction innovation, and overall excellence. A significant slope on the property posed a challenge for this project. The challenge was expertly overcome by using the County Block® Retaining Wall System to hold back earth throughout the project. County Block’s simple pinning system aligns and locks units in place, and allows for easy installation, creating the decorative serpentine curves installed throughout the project.

HNA is the only award program that recognizes the work of professional hardscape contractors on a national level. Each year an impressive pool of projects is submitted for judging, and two are ultimately selected to earn awards in each category. County Materials continues to make a positive impact on the industry by receiving recognition in the HNA Awards for the fifth consecutive year. County Materials congratulates all the award-winning contractors and manufacturers who were recognized in this year’s event.
