County Materials Sponsors ASCE Civil Engineering Student Championships

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) has been hosting their Concrete Canoe Competition since 1988 to celebrate engineering excellence and hydrodynamic design. This year, the ASCE combined the event with a Sustainable Solutions Competition and the Utility Engineering & Surveying Institute (UESI) Competition to hold their first Civil Engineering Student Championships.
Hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, these championships included more than 350 students from 48 universities across the globe. The ASCE prioritizes opportunities like these for students to learn, network, and showcase their work at the highest level.
