On April 14th and 15th, Northcentral Technical College hosted the Central Wisconsin Science &
Engineering Festival. On the first day, students from more than twenty middle schools attended the
event, and on the next day, the event was open to the public. County Materials sponsored the festival,
through the Sonnentag American Foundation, and sent two team members to represent the company.
County Materials values opportunities to get involved locally and provide resources for students
pursuing STEM careers. STEM curriculum introduces students to many rewarding and diverse career
opportunities in concrete manufacturing and construction, like engineering, quality control, and project
management.
