On August 10th, 2019 County Materials was the lead sponsor for a back to school supply giveaway held at Astatula Elementary School in Astatula, FL. The program was sponsored by the local police department, with efforts by County Materials and other local businesses helping to supply backpacks and supplies to approximately 100 children.
County Materials received a certificate of appreciation from the Astatula Police Department thanking the company for its generosity and making the event possible. The event was held in the late summer to assure local kids are prepared for the upcoming school year. The event not only handed out back packs and school supplies, it also had free food and drinks, face painting and other festivities to celebrate the spirit of community.
County Materials’ sponsorship of this event is one example of how the company demonstrates its Vision of Success, Stability and Support in the communities where the company has locations.
