County Materials Supports Career Exploration During Manufacturing Day
Hundreds of middle schoolers across Central Wisconsin are exploring career opportunities in local manufacturing during Manufacturing Day.
The Central Wisconsin Manufacturing Alliance hosts regional Heavy Metal Tours in alignment with MFG Day to bring more awareness to students and educators about manufacturing companies and careers in their communities.
MFG Day, recognized on October 7, teaches students about rewarding career opportunities in modern manufacturing. Students can explore their interests and align them with highly skilled, well-paying jobs in manufacturing.
County Materials proudly supports MFG Day and continually seeks opportunities to engage students in our industry through plant tours, classroom workshops, and local initiatives, including the Heavy Metal Tour. Our goal is to empower students to make educated decisions about their career paths. Jobs in concrete manufacturing are in-demand and offer opportunities for skills training and growth.
County Materials sponsors the Heavy Metal Tour and hosts events at our Marathon, Rib Falls, and Custer, Wisconsin locations.
Together, we’re building a company that hardworking people are proud to work for, live near, and do business with since 1946.
