Creating Meaningful Experiences with Little Lakes Memories

Jun 16, 2025

Founded in 2005, Little Lakes Memories is a Wisconsin-based, volunteer-run lodge dedicated to providing outdoor recreational experiences for individuals with disabilities. Offering activities like hunting, fishing, and nature exploration, the organization makes it possible for guests to enjoy adventures that might otherwise seem out of reach due to physical limitations. Caregivers are welcome to join in or take time to rest, knowing their loved ones are in a supportive, inclusive environment. Operating year-round and at no cost to participants, Little Lakes Memories strives to create lasting experiences and meaningful moments for families.

County Materials partners with Little Lakes Memories in their mission to make outdoor experiences accessible for individuals with disabilities. In addition to their year-round programming, Little Lakes hosts special events like Special Needs Swim Days, offering children and adults—and their families—a chance to enjoy a private, inclusive day at the pool. We are honored to support an organization that continues to be a valued resource in the community.

County Materials partners with local organizations through the Sonnentag American Foundation, emphasizing four key service areas: Hunger and Homelessness Support, Veteran and Service Member Support, Sexual Abuse and Domestic Assault Services, and Mentoring and Skills Building.
