The Stevens Point Area YMCA is driven by its mission of improving the health and well-being of its community. For over 50 years, the organization has served individuals and families of all ages and backgrounds, helping them reach their potential.
County Materials supports the YMCA in providing life-changing activities for the local community, including adapted sports, group exercise, sports training, daycare, adventure trips, and more. Camp Glacier, an overnight camp for ages 7-14, allows youth to meet new friends and create memories in a safe environment. Campers enjoy traditional camp activities while learning outdoor skills and engaging in hands-on environmental education.
Through the Sonnentag American Foundation, County Materials supports worthy organizations like the YMCA. We provide support in four key service areas: Hunger & Homelessness Support, Service Member & Veteran Support, Sexual Abuse & Domestic Assault Services, and Mentoring & Skills Building.
