Having the Time of Their Lives at a Place They’ll Never Forget

Feb 24, 2020

Easter Seals | Madison, WI

Imagine a Place:

...where campers are free to be themselves and are valued for it.

...where campers are able to try new things and meet new people in a fully accessible and fun environment.

...where campers make new friends and reminisce with old ones.

...where campers of all ages and abilities challenge themselves and set goals to make the most of their camp experience.

...where not only the campers have time to relax, but their families and caregivers have a respite as well.

Camp Wawbeek aims to give children and adults with disabilities an opportunity to meet new friends and take on new challenges through a wide variety of recreational and social activities. The Wisconsin Elks/ Easter Seals Respite Camp is designed to give families a break from the demands of caring for someone with a disability, while providing their loved ones with a safe, nurturing, and fun experience.

Easter Seals receives funding from County Materials’ annual charity golf outing. To demonstrate the company’s Vision of Success, Stability and Support, County Materials is contributing to organizations that provide youth mentoring and skills building in communities where the company has locations.
