Partnering with Easterseals Crossroads to Support Individuals with Disabilities

Oct 9, 2025

Easterseals Crossroads began in 1936 as an informal social club for teens with disabilities. Today, the organization is Central Indiana’s leading choice for disability services. For 85 years, Easterseals has provided programs and resources to help people live as independently as possible.

The County Materials Family of Companies supports Easterseals Crossroads in serving over 5,000 individuals with disabilities each year. The organization provides early intervention services, including speech, developmental, physical, and occupational therapy, to families with young children who have developmental delays or disabilities. Early intervention significantly helps children learn new skills and overcome challenges.

When Adel recognized that her son, Terrell, wasn’t meeting age-related milestones, she turned to Easterseals for help. She said, “Since day one, it has always felt like this is the right place for us. I have trusted the process every day for almost four years, and every day I have seen change and growth.”

Through the Sonnentag American Foundation, the County Materials Family of Companies supports organizations in four key service areas: Hunger & Homelessness Support, Service Member & Veteran Support, Sexual Abuse & Domestic Assault Services, and Mentoring & Skills Building.
