Design Versatility
Concrete pavers come in a variety of colors and finishes to achieve the aesthetic goals of a construction project. One Milwaukee small business chose permeable pavers for their parking lot for their sustainability and durability. The parking lot was constructed using H2O Pro Pavers in Oasis to complement the small business’ orange logo and brand. Additionally, H2O Pro Pavers in Haven were ingeniously spread throughout the project to break up the space and draw attention away from inevitable oil drips.
Storm Water Management
As part of a redesign of the War Memorial Center parking lot, the city of Milwaukee sought an innovative solution that would slow and filter storm water before it enters Lake Michigan. Permeable pavers manufactured by County Materials provided an aesthetically pleasing solution. Allowing storm water to drain directly into a subsurface drainage system, permeable pavers can withstand heavy loads and provide a safe tread for pedestrians.
