The Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers District Council represents craftworkers in the trowel trades across the state of Wisconsin. They provide apprenticeships, training, and resources to bricklayers, stone and marble masons, cement masons, plasterers, tilesetters, terrazzo and mosaic workers, and pointers/cleaners/caulkers.
County Materials partners with the organization to support their apprenticeship program based in New Berlin, Wisconsin, which is widely recognized for producing highly skilled craftworkers. The apprenticeship program provides immersive hands-on training and mentorship, equipping individuals with valuable practical skills in bricklaying and various trowel trades.
County Materials, through the Sonnentag American Foundation, supports dozens of worthy organizations and causes in four service areas, including Hunger and Homelessness Support, Service Member and Veteran Support, Sexual Abuse and Domestic Assault Services, and Mentoring and Skills Building.
