County Materials celebrates John Hovre's retirement after 20 years of dedicated service as a flatbed driver in Holmen, WI. John is remembered for his friendly attitude and love for dogs at job sites.
“John has been a dedicated and skilled driver. He worked for County Materials for 20 years, and he was employed by the previous facility owner, so he was part of this building for many years before that. In the 8 years I have been here, he has never once called in sick. That is real dedication to your job! All the contractors liked him; he was always pleasant on job sites. He would always have dog treats in his truck, just in case a dog was on a job site!” says John’s supervisor, Jenni McLaren.
