County Materials Maxwell Facility Hosts Tours for NPCA

Oct 28, 2025

County Materials welcomed representatives from the National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA) to the Maxwell, Indiana, pipe facility for guided tours. NPCA Director of Codes and Standards, Eric Carleton, and Director of Outreach and Technical Education, Claude Goguen, received a firsthand look at County Materials’ manufacturing capabilities and commitment to quality.

During the tour, guests observed reinforced concrete pipe manufacturing processes, including cage welding, casting, and curing. They also saw how advanced equipment and streamlined operations reflect County Materials’ commitment to consistent quality and efficient production. County Materials team members also shared insights into quality control measures and our long-standing role in supporting infrastructure development across the Midwest.

Visits like these underscore the value of strong partnerships between manufacturers and industry associations. As a member of NPCA, County Materials benefits from the association’s technical resources, educational programs, and advocacy efforts that help elevate standards across the precast concrete industry.

NPCA is a leading trade association representing manufacturers of precast concrete products and suppliers of related materials and services. Through collaboration and the exchange of knowledge, NPCA fosters growth, safety, and sustainability within the concrete manufacturing industry.

County Materials is proud to support NPCA’s mission and remains committed to building lasting relationships that strengthen the concrete manufacturing industry and the communities it serves.
