Its programs are designed to help veterans overcome physical and psychological challenges, supporting a smoother transition to civilian life.
Through its SoldierSuit program, SoldierStrong provides state-of-the-art rehabilitation devices, such as robotic exoskeletons, to help veterans with spinal cord injuries, paralysis, traumatic brain injuries, and strokes regain mobility. Additionally, SoldierStrong offers programs that utilize virtual reality technology to support veterans in overcoming post-traumatic stress disorder and to promote both physical and cognitive rehabilitation.
To support SoldierStrong’s mission of delivering life-changing services to veterans, County Materials provides financial support to help veterans lead fuller, healthier, and more independent lives.
Through the Sonnentag American Foundation, County Materials supports dozens of worthy organizations and causes in four service areas, including Hunger and Homelessness Support, Service Member and Veteran Support, Sexual Abuse and Domestic Assault Services, and Mentoring and Skills Building.
