Concrete Landscape Products Create Stunning Outdoor Space for Inshalla Country Club
The Inshalla Country Club is a locally-owned golf course and country club in Tomahawk, Wisconsin. The club features a driving range, putting and chipping greens, Pro Shop, bar and grill, event hall, and private dining rooms. Inshalla prides itself on continually improving to meet the needs of its guests. Wanting to create an inviting outdoor gathering space for guests, project leaders relied on County Materials’ concrete landscape products to construct a retaining wall, patio, walkway, and oversized steps.
The multi-level patio and retaining wall design provides erosion control, offers guests a seating area, and serves as a walkway to the Pro Shop. The design features warm colors, graceful curves, and a variety of textures to create an aesthetic that blends rustic charm with refined grace.
Essence Wood Grain Plank Pavers were used throughout the patio and walkway, softening the overall look without sacrificing durability. The uniform shape and dimensionally compatible sizes provided design flexibility, making it easy to incorporate the unique angles of the curving walkway.
Additionally, a Winston Straight Retaining Wall System and Summit Stone Landscape Units were used to build a seat wall with elegant columns at the corners. Bullnose pavers for the top of the seat wall provided enhanced comfort, and columns were capped off with smooth 30-inch square cap units for a polished look. Concrete pavers offer unmatched strength and provide a safe tread even in wet conditions.
Project Highlights:
Designed to withstand freeze/thaw cycles, concrete landscape products are well-suited for Wisconsin’s four-season climate. To minimize the disruption to the country club’s already short golf season, the project broke ground as soon as the ground thawed for the spring. Within three months, the 800-square-foot project was ready for guests to enjoy.
