Solution: Versatile concrete landscape products mix-and-match effortlessly to enhance intimate patio.
This Missouri patio showcases the limitless design versatility of concrete pavers and landscape units. Contractors used a mix of County Materials’ dimensionally compatible pavers in nature-inspired colors to build an intimate patio that perfectly complements the home’s traditional aesthetics.
The patio includes an intimate gathering area with comfortable seating as well as a dining area. Underneath each space, the paver pattern functions like an area rug, defining the space and lending a custom, handcrafted feel to the overall design. In the seating area, 4x8 ELEMENTSTM PAVERS in Beckon were installed in a herringbone pattern with a three-layer border made from 8x16 ELEMENTSTM PAVERS in Beckon and 4x8 ELEMENTS PAVERS in Vision.
The dining area adds another paver to the mix, with Grand DISCOVER PAVERS® in Enlighten adding warmth and elegance to the design. The dining table is framed by an inlay of 8x16 ELEMENTS PAVERS in Beckon and Vision.
To prepare the site for the patio, contractors had to first build a small retaining wall using Splitface TRIBUTE® WALL SYSTEMS in Canyon Brown. A short staircase made with TRIBUTE WALL SYSTEMS and Double Sided Splitface Rectangle Caps in Canyon Brown connects the patio to the rest of the yard.
To complete the project, the contractors constructed decorative pillars out of Tumbled SUMMIT STONE® LANDSCAPE UNITS in Timeless and 24x24 Wetcast Column Caps in Vision.
Project Highlights:
County Materials’ concrete landscape products are designed for long-lasting performance and efficient installation. The uniform height and compatible dimensions of the products used in this project simplified base preparation and minimized the need for cutting pavers.
