County Materials’ Pavers and Retaining Walls featured in 2016 Excellence in Hardscape Winners
Five award-winning projects in the 2016 Wisconsin Masonry Alliance Excellence in Hardscape Awards include pavers and retaining walls manufactured by County Materials Corporation.
The Excellence in Hardscape Awards are an annual competition that showcases innovation, beauty and sustainability in the use of hardscape products in landscaping, including concrete pavers, clay pavers, concrete retaining and garden wall units, and/or natural stone products.
The competition draws entries from across the state of Wisconsin and the U.P. of Michigan. Projects are judged by a panel of industry professionals on overall excellence of design, creativity, functionality, selection and quality of hardscape materials, installation techniques, craftsmanship and finished appearance. Winning entries represent the finest hardscape projects in the region.
Walking away with the Silver Award in the Best Residential Driveway Application category was The Reesman Companies of Burlington, WI for a residential driveway project on East Norport Drive in Port Washington, WI. The project utilizes Elements Paving Stones™.

Wendland Landscape Services, Inc. of Germantown, WI was recognized with a Silver Award in the Best Permeable Paver Residential Application category. Their permeable driveway project on Milwaukee Street in Delafield, WI featured County Materials’ H2O Pro Pavers®.
Milwaukee St. Residence
Milaeger’s Inc. of Racine, WI took top honors for two Racine projects, both in the Best Concrete Paver Commercial Application Over 2,500 Sq. Ft. category. These include a Silver Award for an outdoor employee patio at Twin Disc, Inc. featuring County Pavers®, and a Bronze Award for a patio at Sebastian’s Restaurant which utilized County Materials’ Tranquility Pavers®.

In the Best Structural Retaining Wall Commercial Application over 2,500 Sq. Ft., Tito, Inc. of Schofield, WI took the Silver Award for their Rib Rock retaining wall project at the FedEx Ground Expansion in Mosinee, WI.
